I have traveled extensively and lived in several countries, including Panama, Guyana, France, England, The Czech Republic and Hungary.
I have epilepsy and AVM. I have complex partial seizures that sometimes make me see some pretty vibrant images, some pleasant, some frightening. I use writing and music as therapy to deal with these things. I love the ocean, history, reading, travel, art, writing, crafts, bicycling and my little garden. I have even planted a special “destructable patch” for my little pet bunny, Teva Froud, when she wants to have some lettuce for munching.

I speak Cantonese
My favorite food is Indian food, but I hate the way it looks.
I have never eaten a doughnut.
I have never driven a car.
In 2005, I took a map of the world, threw a dart at it while closing my eyes and moved to the place the dart landed. That place was Prague, CZ.
I speak fluent Hungarian.
My second family is a Kuna Indian family who have adopted me.
I have never had a dog or a cat as a pet- only rabbits.
I had brain surgery in 2006.
I can pick locks. I can even get through fingerprinting locks.
I have broken every toe on my left foot.
I was a flamenco dancer until I got bored of it.
I can juggle Chinese sticks.
I lived in Panama for four years and have two homes there.
My favorite flower is a cala lily.
I excell at science and fail at math.
I won the CSFA Awards five years in a row. (singing competition) The sixth year I placed absolutely last.
I never went to middle school. I just didn't go to school between the age of 10 and 13.
I found a human bone washed on the shore of a beach in Ireland.
I cought Malaria in Guyana and was hospitalized for three months.
I can write in English with one hand and Magyar with the other at the same time, sometimes while singing a song. I have no clue why I can do this.
Bagpipe music makes me nauseated.
I have lived in six countries and traveled to fifteen.
In 1999, I trekked across Ireland with a child's school backpack as my only luggage.
I spent my 10 year anniversary in Venice, Italy.
Two of my best friends do not speak the same language as me, and I don't speak theirs.
The smell of boiling eggs makes me faint.
I have never seen the Muppets, or Star Wars, or Indiana Jones, or Star Trek.
I read a set of encyclopedias front to back... for fun.
If you really want to know me, most of this stuff is not important... but this is:
I never wait around for magic to happen. I make it happen. I am an opportunist and I love adventures.
The idea of taking the "normal" path in life is actually a fear of mine.
Many people ask me "how do you get to travel and do special things? It seems impossible."
But I have no answer other than "Get up and go." I don't wait around for money, or luck, or someone to
do it for me. I just do it myself. My biggest annoyance is when someone says
"I've never done anything interesting."
It's all about how you look at things.

Jonnie Bard- Musician, Lyricist, Literature Professor and Poet. I have known Jonnie as a friend longer than anyone else and he is very special to me.
Katy Thornberry- Teacher, Craftswoman and Tough Bitch. She is Jonnie's lady and if she give's you that "teacher voice," you bow down like a cowardly kid.
Lyra Bloom- Firechild, sprightly fire dancer and free spirit. She is my newest friend and my future housemate. Though I have not known her very long, I can tell that she is special.
Amit Nathani- Amit is one of those multi talented guys who is good at everything. He has great charm and charisma and is the most fun to be around.
Blakey Ross- A talented modern artist and world traveler, Blakey is one of those rare people who is worldly and still fresh and charming. She is an expat living in Peru. Her website is here...
Sierra Glass- Ren Faire enchantress and fun loving get together girl- Sierra is always the one organizing the girls nights out. Sometimes she has rainbow hair.
Alec- My best friend of all- my husband. My soul mate. My family. My beloved. The most supportive person I have ever known. I love him dearly.
Eric "Butter"- He is that fun guy everyone loves to be around. Whenever I am in Panama, he makes me feel at home.
Anna McCann- A rock and roll accountant. Anna is one of the most original people I have ever met, as well as honest and down to Earth. She rocks.
Alexis- The purple pirate! Alexis is like having a sister that is always there for you. I value her as a friend and family member. And she is made of purple things.
Lucifer- His real name IS Lucifer, but he is the sweetest guy. Lucifer is that guy you can always count on...
Amber- One of the coolest and most outgoing women I know. karate master!
